December 31, 2021 – Independent Bankers Capital Fund IV, L.P. (“IBC Fund IV”) is pleased to announce its investment in San Antonio-based C&C Sage, Inc. (“C&C”). Founded in 2007, C&C is the largest privately owned countertop fabricator in Central Texas. The Company operates two brands servicing institutional and custom homebuilders, commercial construction and redevelopment projects, and retail/DIY customers. Customers include the largest homebuilders in the region, including DR Horton, Lennar, Ashton Woods and others. True Blue Surfaces is the primary brand, which services the high-volume wholesale countertop market. Bellezza Artisan Surfaces was acquired as an add-on in 2020, and services the premium custom fabrication market.
IBC Fund IV’s investment will be used to grow the existing business through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth into additional markets in central Texas and contiguous states.
